This piece contains the last names and dates of death for each of the female Soldiers KIA as part of the War on Terror, OIF, OEF, and most recently in Syria (2002 - 2019) most before Congress approved women ‘in combat’. However, their deaths aren't any more important than their male counterparts.

An abstract depiction of a man falling from one of the towers on 9/11. I wanted to attempt a piece that paid homage to the victims without being disrespectful or gruesome. I wanted to give it a peaceful or angelic feel because thinking of it that way is the only way I can handle it.

South Pool of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City on a beautifully lit and colorful winter afternoon. This was captured after a 4-hour tour through the museum, which started on a foggy/rainy, cold morning. To me, the image embodies the hope that followed the tragedy.

A Final Elegant Gesture is a short film comprised of a personal essay narration paired with old B&W film footage. The essay is set in New York City and draws from the storytellers’ direct experience standing beneath the Twin Towers on the morning of 9/11, and the ramifications that ensued in the months that followed.
